1) Abolition of compensation system for illegal ticket transactions (secret purchaser system)
The ‘compensation system’ for the ‘unauthorized ticket transaction policy (secret shopper system)’ will be completely abolished. Additionally, we plan to strengthen our internal monitoring team for unauthorized transactions and premium ticket reservations. If verification is necessary, we plan to improve the existing excessive verification process as follows.
– If there is no financial transaction related to ticket reservation (e.g., proxy reservation between family members or friends, etc.), it is not considered an unauthorized transaction.
– Before national performance ticket reservations open, we will guide you through the confirmation process through the ‘Ticket Fraudulent Transaction Policy Information’ through all official channels and ticket sales sites.
– In accordance with the revised notice, we will simplify the authentication process and prevent fans from feeling emotional burden due to inaccurate authentication period requirements.
2) Personal identification procedure to receive tickets
We recognize the need to improve the personal identification process for children and adolescents, and will make necessary improvements by referring to the cases of other companies.
– If you have difficulty verifying your identity with an ID card, you will be permitted to receive a ticket after confirming your immediate family relationship with a family relationship certificate or a copy of your resident registration.
– For new passports, the existing identity verification process will be maintained without a passport certificate.
3) Improvement of the official fan club permanent expulsion system
We are implementing this system as a means to strongly prevent premium transactions and unauthorized entry transactions, but we deeply sympathize with the responsibility arising from recent incidents. Accordingly, our goal is to improve the ‘IU Official Fan Club Permanent Suspension System’. From now on, the suspension system within the official fan club will function as a ‘restriction application (e.g., membership restriction based on the number of fan club households)’ rather than a ‘permanent suspension’.
– The exit criteria have been changed due to improvements in the premium and unauthorized ticket negotiation system. Accordingly, starting today, we will lift the permanent ban on all members of IU's official fan club.
However, as specified in the 'Fan Etiquette Guide' announced through official channels, individuals who threaten the artist's safety or invade his privacy are not subject to sanctions relief. In particular, we plan to take permanent sanctions against fandoms that have caused inappropriate problems within the fandom in the past or are likely to do so in the future.
– We plan to thoroughly review and discuss the support criteria internally to ensure that fans are not treated unfairly due to this system.
