An investigation into the prices of Jimin's dad's cafe products is underway.

[+354, -41] There are many ways in which parents destroy their children's future.

[+298, -44] Honestly, Jimin's dad is too much;; I don't think he's opportunistic, he's always been too much and I think people are finally starting to notice. This is the first time I've seen a celebrity with a dad like this.

[+137, -162] It's no wonder the media is criticizing BTS due to Suga's drunk driving scandal.

– [+55, -27] So do you seriously consider this father's behavior normal?

[+85, -35] Sometimes your parents can be your biggest enemies

[+81, -103] Look at our country trying to destroy a natural treasure, a group we can never produce again.

[+36, -23] Well, this is a bit too much, but why is the dad holding his own fan meeting? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ And why isn't the son giving him money? ㅋㅋ I checked out his Instagram and he's actually selling his own BTS goods ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ A handheld fan for 40,000 won, wow

[+34, -20] Let me set the record straight here. The photo is not of Jimin's father doing a fan signing. During BTS' Busan concert, fans started lining up outside the Busan cafe run by Jimin's father, and when the line got too long and no one could enter, he felt bad and set up another table outside to welcome the fans (the photo was taken by a grateful fan to express his gratitude). I think this article is exaggerating the fan signing as if it was something his father did on purpose.

[+30, -17] Reporter, Jimin's father has always run a cafe, and recently, he has been following the trend and expanding his fan merchandise business. It's also thanks to Jimin's popularity, but he also contributes to the local community through charity and volunteer work. If this is a problem, why aren't other BTS family members “controversial” like RM's younger brother who opened a cafe?

[+24, -18] Jimin's father never “sold” Jimin. The fan signing event was because many fans came to the cafe to get his autograph instead. And the fan merchandise was designed by his cafe. If all of this is considered “too much” and “exploiting BTS,” what about all the restaurants that have BTS pictures on their walls for you to visit? What is the intention of this article?

[+23, -16] Is this reporter anti-BTS?

[+21, -16] Jimin's dad donated so much money in Jimin's name… I'd wager that Jimin's donation is the largest among all of BTS, and it's not just the amount, but also the variety. But I don't really understand why fans want Jimin's dad's autograph;;

[+20, -11] That autograph photo was taken at the Busan concert lol. It wasn't a “fan signing”. There was a military line outside his cafe during the Busan concert so Jimin's dad went out and handed out drinks, and when the fans started crowding around for his autograph it got dangerous so he made them line up in a safe line next to his chair.

[+17, -13] Even regular coffee shops are selling their own products at extremely high prices. What's the problem with that?

[+15, -10] Aside from Jimin's father, most of the BTS family members have their own businesses, and we can't ignore the light that the name BTS shines on them. That doesn't mean it's wrong for a family to have their own businesses. It just seems like the media is trying to kill BTS by making it seem “controversial.”

[+14, -13] The haters would be so happy that the media reported this lol I don't know why fans care so much about how they spend their own money

[+10, -4] Considering how famous BTS is, their family seems to be much more private than you might think… There are so many cafes that make and sell their own merchandise. And the fan signing photos are kind of funny, but who can stop fans from signing autographs…
